The contemporary leadership we researched was Situational, Distributed, and Collaborative. We researched all these because we thought that this type of prInciples would make the game more interesting for the players and leaders. I felt that with these principles we would have a chance to show how to effectively apply it, the research we did supposedly told how each principle worked and how to effectively apply it. Some other examples of the research were that what games apply to these principles the most which were for situational was capture the flag, this game was that you had to get the ball and bring it to your side, but when the opponent gets the ball from your goal. I felt if we made the game more involving we would have had a much better time. In Chris's and Malcolm’s game they had a larger place to play which made the girls to play for the boys couldn't cover all the ground, I felt when the girls were given tasks they had a more serious face on. Which I felt the team with the girls, who played, had a much higher chance to win. In our game I saw Sharni and Kim were standing together most of the time. We tried to split them up to become more effective in the game which was the other weak point. In the strength department I saw that the other teams like Chris's team , Keanus's team had a solid collaboration with each other they knew each other’s strengths and weaknesses, so they had a much better referee idea , while we know each other as a team, but our understanding of the game was lacking like sometimes lalovi would change the rules and me and Fred wouldn't even know about it , and when we would call game we would have been told that the rule changes , the communication between us was a little less Considering the only brave one was lalovi who would speak up . I think depended too much on lalovi to take the game I felt if I spoke up we would have had a better time, but some of our strengths laid is that we trusted each other to do what we were assigned to us which I felt that we did the scoreboard referee and some other distributed principle In which we used as leaders. Collaborative, With this principle, we used in the game to bring together the team, we put different people together not the usual Rory and Devante on the same team we tried the team to be more fair the team had to communicate and work together to work we didn't really care about who had the skill set and who didn't , but we cared if you worked towards the goal we wouldn't have given the losing team the punishment if they show the true hard work and communication skills but they hadn't . In some other games such as sharni's I was boring everyone kept yelling and yelling pretty much some tips would be nice but other than that it was boring. I felt Chris's game was solid for communicating considering we had to get the ball of the safe zone, talking was necessary. Situational, With the situational principle, we couldn't really make one on the spot so we used some suggestions from the other teams such as making a game that changes roles on the spot, we thought of the idea tried to modify a game, but the castle was a very good game which keeps a person on defensive and offensive side at the same time . We thought that this game would make the game more fun and challenging. The game Modified Tapuwae was an interesting game which kept most of us on our feet, I didn't see a lot of situational principle of it, Mr Cameron did tell us something about it but I didn't really see it.
